The Story

Before Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu began, a quieter revolution was already underway.

Sadakazu Uyenishi was among the first to bring jiu-jitsu to Britain, where he performed under the name “Raku”.

He taught, demonstrated, and proved its effectiveness in a country that had never seen it before.

His influence would extend far beyond Britain.

Mitsuyo Maeda sought him out to study ground fighting before travelling to Brazil.

History remembers the rest.

The Beginning

The Raku Gi is Rikuzame’s first release.

It sets the standard for everything that follows:
